Optimising your messages to maximise your deliverability is a key part of email marketing. That is why we have partnered up with some of the biggest brands in email testing and spam monitoring, to provide you with the tools you need to review your emails before you send.
By reviewing your content you will be able to identify any content that could get your message flagged by spam filters as well as test how your messages will look in all of the top mailboxes, such as Gmail, Hotmail and across Smartphones.
To allow you to do just this we have split the advanced deliverability checker into two main outputs: Inbox Preview and Spam Preview.
To access these features navigate to the preview and testing tab within the message you are editing. This will be the tab furthest to the right.
Here you’ll find the Inbox Preview and Advanced Deliverability Checker option. Selecting this option will lead you to more information on the spam filters and inbox clients being used. Simply select send test to use the features.
For the Inbox Preview Test, results for individual clients will be displayed as soon they become available, although some may take up to 24 hours to return results. Inbox Preview results can be viewed using the preview button on the main messages page.
The Advanced Deliverability Checker will warn you of any elements of your message which may threaten inbox placement for all the major inboxes.
The test uses the Litmus service to check the validity of links and image paths, check that the required authentications are present and pass your message through the major spam filters.
The Spam Filter checks will then flag any warnings which may threaten the inbox placement of the message from that specific filter and suggest solutions where possible. To access these solutions, select the spam filter preview icon next to your message name and click on any warning sign you see for more information.
